On November 10th, 33 Health Careers Academy students attended the California State University campus tour and the School of Nursing simulation lab presentation. Students learned about the admission requirements for both the university and the nursing program in addition to receiving advice on how to prepare themselves for post-secondary success while still in high school. There is a widely accepted legend on campus that if a student rubs the statue of David (pictured) before an exam, he or she will get an A on that exam.
