Our HCA 11th grade students toured the Cal State Fullerton Campus and the School of Nursing. The nursing presentation included a tour of the simulation lab with a demonstration of the pregnant mother and infant birthing simulator, the simulation arms their nursing students use to practice IV insertions, and the latest “Sim Man 3G” which blinks, sweats, excretes, and can simulate cardiac arrest (and other emergency situations). The weather was great and many HCA students plan to apply to the university next year.
