Mrs. Woods’s serves as a CTE/ROP Instructor for the Riverside County Office of Education, Division of Education Services teaching innovative technology courses at Canyon Springs High School in the Moreno Valley Unified School District. Throughout her eighteen-year tenure, Mrs. Woods established high expectations instilling efficacy, ethics, integrity, accountability, empowerment and successful achievement for each student. Desiring to provide our students with advanced academic opportunities, Mrs. Woods continually collaborates with area colleges and universities ensuring students obtain articulated credits and receive their UC a-g elective credits for successful mastery of their coursework. Students obtain five high school elective credits, and three UC “g” elective credits for Computer Information Systems and Cyber Security I & II courses wherein she serves as instructor. She resides in Moreno Valley with her husband Scott and their two sons who are graduates of Canyon Springs H.S. Recognized for her continued efforts on behalf of her students, RCOE honored Mrs. Woods as the CTE Riverside County Teacher of the Year in 2014.
