We are the only program in the Moreno Valley Unified School District to earn both the Riverside County Office of Education Models of Academic Excellence Award and the California School Board Association’s prestigious “California Golden Bell.”
Each year HCA students perform over 7,000 hours of community service. Every year, several HCA students are honored with “student of the month” titles and several have been named “student of the year,” earning a $1,000 scholarship. Additionally, five of our students were awarded a $2,500 scholarship to attend the Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine at UCLA held each summer. Many senior HCA students have earned a $1,000 scholarship from Riverside County Regional Medical Center based on academic success and superior community service provided to the hospital.
